Felicia Schroaeder, who played two seasons of collegiate soccer at the University of South Carolina, has been named US Soccer’s 2012 Disabled Athlete of the Year. Schroaeder, who transferred to Purdue for her last two years, graduating in 2009, helped the USA to a gold medal at the World Deaf Football Championships in July, scoring four goals during the tournament in Turkey.
