Position Overview: Central Florida United Soccer Club is seeking a qualified Executive Director to lead the organization into building the best development program in the State of Florida. Central Florida United has nearly 1800 kids participating in our club on an annual basis. Central Florida United currently employs a Director of Coaching Boys, a Director of Coaching Girls, a Director of Player Development for U6 –U-10 and several trainers as well as an full time Office Manager/Registrar and part time staff. Located in Orange/Seminole County, Florida, we offer a fantastic recreational program ages U5 through U18 and we field 30 travel teams, U11 through U18 each year. We are affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Federation (USYSF) and the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). Essential Job Functions Manage the CFUSC Office and all employees and contract labor individuals: Direct authority for hiring, terminating, managing and supervising the staff of Central Florida United Soccer Club. The Executive Director shall develop a staff of full time and part time employees who will be incorporated into present and future operations of CFUSC. The Executive Director shall use an established appraisal system for the CFUSC personnel so that all can be evaluated on performance and responsibilities. Produce and update business plan annually in conjunction with the Central Florida United Board of Directors. This plan should address any changes needed to address the growth of the game of soccer in the Central Florida area. Long term capital investments in facilities and strategic objectives should be listed in the business plan Administer and enforce policies established by the Central Florida United Board of Directors. The general rules for the club should be used to guide day to day decision making. Administer club finances: The Executive Director will make all operational payments on behalf of the club. The Executive Director will work with finance committee to develop an annual budget and monitor the budget throughout the year. A financial report will be delivered to the board of directors quarterly. The club treasurer will audit the books on behalf of the club annually. Tournament Director: The Executive Director
will oversee and coordinate the annual Fall soccer tournament and Spring
Golf Tournament Corporate Sponsorship and Public Relations: The Executive Director is responsible for the development of all marketing and PR operations for CFUSC. The Executive Director should identify grant programs and file appropriate applications Serve as the main point of contact for all Local, Regional and National events/meetings: The Executive Director will serve as the primary contact for league officials with regard to matters in which assistance of Central Florida United Soccer Club is needed or required such as league meetings etc. Assist leagues with questions of discipline, risk management, work with the Director of Coaching to resolve coach and/or player issues. Establish ongoing action steps to remain in line with both league and club development. Special Events: The Executive Director agrees to assist or head up special events such as the Central Florida United Annual Membership Meeting, College Night or as specifically requested by the Board of Directors.
