Director of Tournaments

FC Richmond is seeking a Director of Tournaments to oversee and manage all aspects of FC Richmond’s two annual tournaments…Sun Cup (recreational tournament over the 1st weekend in June) and the Richmond Cup (travel tournament over Labor Day weekend).

The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of running a successful youth athletic tournament, as well as a having an understanding of the rules and regulations in the game of soccer.

The candidate’s duties will include hiring tournament staff, whether professional or volunteer; implementing the policies and rules of the tournament; interacting with the persons overseeing the facilities; instructing the staff and coordinating internal communication; the recruitment and retention of teams, coordinating event finances; and overseeing scheduling, statistics, communication, promotion, marketing, and participant recognition for both annual tournaments.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
