Director of Tournaments and Communications

The Richmond Strikers Soccer Club in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a full-time Director of Tournaments and Communications.

This individual should have a minimum of a college degree and have previous tournament management experience.

Responsibilities include all aspects of managing four co-ed youth national soccer tournaments, responsibility for $600,000 budget, development of new tournaments, securing vendors, sponsors and tournament staff.

This individual is also responsible for club communications surrounding the tournaments and fostering strong relationships with Nike and other soccer organizations.

Skills needed include: organization, budgeting, people skills, computer skills, and a strong understanding of tournament management including team recruitment, on-line registration and day of event coordination.
