The tournament will conclude with the championship game on July 28 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The winner of the 2013 Gold Cup will qualify for a playoff match against the champion of the 2015 Gold Cup, to decide which team will represent the region in the 2017 Confederations Cup.
When the tournament is completed, twelve different U.S. cities will have hosted Gold Cup games. Miami hosted a group doubleheader, while Atlanta’s Georgia Dome hosted a quarterfinal doubleheader.
The U.S. advanced to the semifinals of the Gold Cup for the seventh consecutive time with a 5-1 win over El Salvador. The Americans have made the semifinals 11 out of 12 Gold Cup competitions.
