The Methodist University men and the Averett University women top the NCAA Division III USA South Athletic Conference’s preseason soccer polls.
Methodist was third in the conference during the 2012 men’s regular season, but won the conference tournament.
Averett is the defending USA South Athletic women’s champion, and received 12 of 13 first place votes in the poll. Averett swept both the 2012 regular season and tournament titles.
